First Round Is Going To The Dogs

In a way, we are – with our latest investment – dogvacay.com.  I’m happy to announce that @FirstRound has lead a seed round in Dogvacay.com – a community where you can have your dogs boarded in real home settings, not caged in a kennel.  While I’m not a pet owner (NYC apartments are not that dog friendly), I  know many of them – and they all feel guilty whenever they have to put the pet in a kennel.

Aaron Hirschhorn faced this same problem and decided to do something about it.  He has created a web site and community where people can sign up to allow dogs to be boarded in their homes, living in a far more friendly environment than the traditional kennel.  And the family’s that are boarding the dogs get to make new canine friends.  It’s even possible to board a dog for a weekend and show your kids what it really means to take good care of a pet.

Hey, I just drafted with you on mtgo. It was my first draft ever and lo and beohld my first opponent is you. It was a good learning experience, but I kinda wish I had a chance against others at the table to see how well my deck would have done. I had unknowingly queued for the draft and then found a trade for 3 boosters thinking I could then que up and get ready. as soon as I hit confirm trade the pack was opened and I had what seemed like 45 secs to pic. Haha I was kinda freaking! I watched you plow through the field and since I had been learning to draft online watching CF and draftmagic I was wondering so I googled you and found this. I am interested in reucneisg a pug. I have a mini schnauzer, a fat cat, and a 4 yr. old son (single dad). My son wasn't a rescue, but I could use it from time to time. I have never owned a pug, but I have known several throughout my life. They have more character than any dog I have ever been around. Everything is peaceful in the house most of the time. I have a 3 bedroom house and a big fenced in back yard (new fence). I have the room, patience, and love to really enjoy a pug. I think Tillie, Margie or maybe another would fit in well.
